url for Trib story

Sorry, the previous post didn't come out so well; here's the url:

Sorry we haven't written for so long; things were going well, but then Brooke contracted a urinary tract infection plus pneumonia, both with bad bugs, and spent a (he says horrendous) month in the hospital. It seemed like a pretty close call. He's at home now, recovering slowly. We mean to write here, soon--
Peggy (& Brooke)

A close friend(whose son had a similar bike accident and outcome at age 17) showed me the article and asked if I knew you. If memory serves me, I was in one of the first British lit classes Brooke taught at the U...1975?
I recall the enthusiasm, the euphoric pacing, the fingers running compulsively through greasy sandy hair, the chalky white lower lip which spoke of time spent out in the elements...but mostly I remember the contemporary relevance he brought to the likes of Keats and Yeats and all.
Your story illuminates both the rational and emotional sides of a complicated issue.
My heart is with you both.

I recall the unfiltered enthusiasm; the pacing in well worn cords;the fingers compulsively running through greasy red hair...but most of all the contemporary relevance he brought to the likes of Keats and Yeats.
